Access to the Registry of Deeds is now available via the Internet at:

Our internet service is an expansion of the public access already available at the Registry of Deeds. This component is a continuation of our commitment to providing high quality service to all our customers.

Currently the Registry has electronic access to indices dating back to 1954. Document images are a work in progress and new electronic content is added weekly. Access to VIEW our web site indices and images is free. However if you want to VIEW or PRINT images, REGISTRATION is required. Fee schedule is as follows:

Annual -- $300
View -- .50 per document
Print -- .50 per page

When viewing, customers have the option to recall a document without charge within 24 hours. Following receipt of a completed agreement. application and registration fee, customers will receive a User ID and Password, and charges will automatically be billed to your internet account.

TO SIGN UP FOR INTERNET SERVICE:

1. Contact the Registry for an agreement and application OR print copies from OUR WEBSITE . (Requires Adobe Reader, See Below)
2. Complete and return with $300.00 check payable to Lincoln County Registry of Deeds and mail to P.O. Box 249, Wiscasset, Maine 04578
